We Love Keeping
Our Patients Informed
If you are considering a specific treatment and aren’t sure if it’s right for you, we want to do everything possible to help. If you haven’t been to the dentist in a long time, we’re always prepared to answer your questions in more detail. Below, you’ll find a series of the most common questions we’ve heard from patients over the years, so give them a read before your next visit! If your question isn’t mentioned, please call us directly!
How often should I visit for a checkup and cleaning?
We recommend visiting our dental office at least once every six months for an exam and cleaning. These routine exams give our dentists a chance to confirm that your at-home oral care is working as well as provide any recommendations for improving your oral hygiene. Furthermore, we can catch underlying issues (i.e. gum disease, tooth decay) before they have a chance to cause severe harm to your oral health.
Can you repair my damaged teeth?
We offer many options for tooth repair. Not only can we restore your teeth with dental fillings and crowns, but we utilize materials that are completely metal-free! This works to maintain your smile’s natural appearance without sacrificing longevity or durability. We can even restore your tooth the same day thanks to CEREC same-day crowns!
How can I replace missing teeth?
While traditional methods like dental bridges can effectively fill the gap in your smile, we often recommend dental implants thanks to their incredible restorative capabilities. Whether you need to replace a single tooth or all the teeth in your smile, we can get it done entirely in our dental office. During your implant consultation, we’ll confirm your eligibility and build a treatment plan that addresses your needs.
What if I feel anxious about my care?
Our dentists and team members will do everything possible to meet your accommodations, especially if you feel anxious about your treatments.
What if I’m missing all of my teeth?
Thanks to advancements in implant dentistry and the expertise of our in-house dentistry, it’s possible to replace an entire arch of teeth with just a handful of dental implants! This is done via implant-retained dentures, overdentures, and hybrid dentures, all of which have their own unique characteristics. We’ll confirm which treatment is best for you depending on your needs.
Can I visit you for a dental emergency?
We ask everyone who is experiencing a dental emergency to give us a call right away, even if you aren’t sure if what you’re experiencing is an emergency or not. We’ll do everything we can to get you out of discomfort and treat your dental issues before they have a chance to get worse.
Do you see patients of all ages?
We are happy to accept patients of all ages for dental care. We recommend that you bring your child in for their first dental appointment within six months of their first tooth erupting or by their first birthday. Our team is patient, kind and more than experienced in working with patients of all ages, including your youngest family members!
