Mickey Leth, DMD is Excited to Provide You Dental Care for Years
Born and raised right here in St. Augustine, Dr. Leth has been improving his neighbors’ smiles for over two full decades now. Today, he’s very proud to be a part of Salt Run Family Dentistry and its amazing, talented team! If you’d like to learn more about him, just keep reading below.
What Kind of Advanced Training Do You Have?
Over the years, Dr. Leth has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education in a variety of specialties, including dental implants, Invisalign, dental lasers, BOTOX/dermal fillers, and esthetic dentistry. He has also held memberships with several reputable organizations, including the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Facial Esthetics, Florida Dental Association, and North East Florida Dental Association.
Where Did You
Study Dentistry?
Dr. Leth received his Bachelor’s in Biology from the University of North Florida and received his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Florida. While attending, he actually served as the president of the dental school! Today, he is proud to hold a Fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry (an accomplishment only 6% of dentists in the country achieve) and a Mastership with the International Dental Implant Association.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Dr. Leth is married to Lauren, who is one of our dental hygienists, and they have two children together named Brooke and Brady. Brooke is on the Cyclones swim team and enjoys reading and music; she sings and also plays several instruments, including the piano, violin, and recorder. Meanwhile, Brady plays baseball and flag football while also regularly going on bike rides with his buddies. He wants to be a dentist when he grows up!
Outside of the dental office, Dr. Leth coaches youth athletics year-round and also enjoys attending sporting events for Flagler Collage, the University of Florida, and local high schools. He and his family love traveling as well – they’ve been to 25 Children’s Museums throughout the country so far!
Here’s an interesting fact about Dr. Leth you may not know: he’s a third generation racecar driver.
